Contributions to quarter-on-quarter volume growth of GDP and expenditure components(contributions to quarter-on-quarter percentage changes of GDP in percentage points)

This table shows the quarter-on-quarter volume growth of the GDP and the contributions to GDP growth of its main expenditure components for the euro area and the euro area countries. Additionally, it shows the individual GDP contributions of euro area countries to the euro area quarter-on-quarter GDP volume growth.

Seasonally and working-day adjusted data. The euro area aggregate for the whole time series refers to the Euro 20. Contributions to the euro area aggregate are ECB calculations based on Eurostat data. National contributions may not add up exactly to the euro area GDP growth rate due to rounding. When computing the contribution of net trade to GDP, it may be noted that it is not yet possible to allocate the imports to the final demand categories in which they were directly or indirectly used.
